After retiring from a lengthy career in the FBI, Rick Ruggieri joined the City of Greeley as the Chief Public Safety Officer. He shared an overview of his time in the FBI at several locations. As he comes to Greeley, he brings with him vast experience and a willingness to innovate. He has been involved with implementing safety enhancements for city events, such as city council meetings and the Stampede. Chief Ruggieri shared the latest innovation coming to Greeley, a team of drones that will be deployed to give advanced information for police and fire crews traveling to an emergency.
