2 - Celebration of Life for Bob and Betty Tointon

As you can see, this event takes place on a club meeting day. Scott promises to start our meeting early and make sure it ends in time for you to get to the UCCC.
3. Student of the Month for April
Christy Dalstrom, counselor from Union Colony High School, thanked the club for the ongoing support of their students, then introduced our Student of the Month for April. We learned that Soliana is not only academically outstanding, but also has a genuine heart for service, showing kindness, integrity and a willingness to make a difference.
Soliana talked about the sacrifices her mother made to bring her family to the US from Ethiopia. She said that her mother’s efforts have inspired her to be a positive role model and maintain her academic record. She helps her brothers with homework, drives them to sports practice, and takes care of housework, as well as homework. Her goal is to go to study radiology in school and wants to work as a radiology technician in a hospital, specializing in diagnostic imaging. She hopes to eventually be able to support her mother and her family. What a fantastic young lady!
