This month's award recipient went to Scott Downer. Scott works for the Colorado State Patrol and patrols our district's highways. Due to his hard work, there has been a reduction in fatalities on the major highways in our area.

A message from Matt Thompson, Chairman of the World Community Service Committee.
Mark your calendar to join our World Community Service committee on an upcoming service trip to Alamosa, Colorado. We'll depart Saturday evening on June 3 and work to help open La Puente's innovative grocery store / food bank. We'll be fulfilling needs such as painting, cleaning, and organizing. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the needs of the San Luis Valley and the work that La Puente does to bridge the gap for those with food and housing insecurity. This is a 3-day service trip (June 4, 5, & 6). Rooms can be reserved at The Dunes Inn (https://www.dunesinnalamosa.com/) for approximately $90.00 per night, which includes breakfast. RYLA
We are looking for more RYLA participants in the future. Our club is sponsoring 4 RYLA and 3 RYLA participants.
In July the Greeley Rotary Clubs will have an evening event with RYLA participants so we can get to know them.
District Foundation Dinner
Susan was able to attend the District Foundation Dinner. Past President Glenda Haines was presented a Certificate of Appreciation for our club's participation in "End Polio Now"!
