RYLA Deadline Approaching

The year is fast moving along and soon it will be time to select our RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) and Young RYLA students for 2011.

The RYLA Conference for 240 participants is held at theYMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado from Sunday July 17 - Friday, July 22, 2011.

Any high school sophomore or junior may apply to attend RYLA. Generally, applicants selected have excelled in one or more areas of high school involvement and have potential or proven leadership experience. Applicants MUST be able to stay for all 5 days of the conference, Sunday, July 17 - Friday, July 22, 2011. Go to the web site at RMRYLA.org and click on the About RYLA link toward the upper left corner to start your application! However, applications will not be accepted until February 15.

The Young RYLA Camp for 120 participants is held at the Pondorosa Retreat & Conference Center in Larkspur, Colorado. Any current 7th grader may apply for Young RYLA. The Young RYLA camp will be from Sunday, July 31 - Friday, August 5, 2011. Click on the About Young RYLA link toward the upper left corner to start your application on or after February 15, 2011.
