Outstanding REDS Wine Tasting

On Sept 24, over 50 Rotarians and guests gathered at the home of John and Roseann Guyette for our first ever wine tasting.
Each member brought a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. This was a blind taste test, and included wines from all over the world including homemade wine made by Rotarian George Pickell and Dandelion Wine brought by Norm Noe.
Everyone had a terrific time tasting, eating and visiting. Ribbons were provided for the top three wines:
3rd Place - 3 Blind Moose Cabernet Sauvignon (2007)( brought by Lori Annand)
2nd Place - Vino del Barrio Arizona Table Wine (2009)(brought by Dan Austin)
1st Place - Helfrich Gewurtraminer (2007) Alsace (brought by Chris Woodruff)
Great event with great fellowship. We hope to do another of these events in the Spring. Very special thanks to Doug Lidiak, Lori Annand, Crystal Day and John and Roseann Guyette for organizing and hosting the event.
