Awards for 2009-2010

Congratulations to Sergeant at Arms Joe La Porta, named on July 8 as our Rotarian of the Year and to Tom Dunn, recipient of the "Quiet Rotarian Award".

Joe has faithfully served the club as our Sergeant at Arms for several years. He and his family are always ready to volunteer for Rotary projects and events. Joe helps whenever and wherever he is asked. Joe is a true example of "Service Above Self".

Tom has been a member of our club for several years and is a new Director. He has worked on many projects and events, especially in World Community Service. His work exemplifies the quiet, sustained effort that benefits the club and the world. He does not seek awards, but his work is worthy of acknowledgement and praise.
