Service Above Self Award

This Sam Brownlee’s Service Above Self award went to Don Bell.  He served our country in the Marine Corps.  Don is always asking what he can do to make the organization better.  He is always ready to go 30 minutes before his shift and makes sure the ambulance is ready to go after his shift is over. Thank you for your hard work in our community.

Rotary Foundation

Lou Steinberg talked to us about the Rotary Foundation report.  There has not been a new case of polio in the past 4 months. Lou also reminded us to contribute to the Rotary Foundation so our district and club get matching funds from the Rotary Foundation so we can do goodwill projects.  Lou also went back to his old club and told us about Palmer Woods who founded his old club in Petaluma, CA.  They just had their 100-year anniversary.

RYLA

Applications are still being accepted for RYLA and interviews will be conducted in May.  If you know someone who is interested go to https://rockymountainryla.org

Greeley Centennial Rotary Golf Tournament 2023

Next Golf Tournament Meeting will be on March 24th at 4 pm at Bogey’s.

The golf tournament committee is looking for sponsors.  If you know of a team that has played in the past let the committee know so they can reach out to them.  Also, they are looking for swag to include in the goodie bags that are provided for the tournament.

SAVE THE DATE and join us for the 35th Annual Centennial Rotary Golf Tournament on Friday, May 12th at Highland Hills Golf Course. Each year this event raises funds for Greeley area Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and other local Rotary projects. We are also looking for donated items for our silent auction and “swag” items from your business that we can put in each player’s gift bag. Please contact Andy Slaughter and Neal Kingman for more information.
