The Greeley Satellite Rotary Club will be holding the annual Christmas Party on December 14th from 5-7 pm. There will be a Silent Auction that will benefit the GSR benevolence causes.
On December 13th join Stewart Abbot at the Weld County Food Bank at 5 PM for a hands-on volunteer opportunity.
The Guadalupe Community Center is seeking donations of new or gently used backpacks, men's jeans, and women's jeans. Please bring them to upcoming meetings.
The Benevolence committee issued a $500 check to the Guadalupe Shelter for their "Non-Event" event.
Andy Wronkoski is this month's Sam Brownlee Service Above Self recipient! Chief Adam Turk described him as a shining star in the department. Andy is the longest-tenured member of the Neighborhood Action Team and he has built great relationships with downtown Greeley businesses.
Mr. Wronkoski is also in charge of the internship program and is helping recruit men and women into a career in law enforcement. Andy runs the Operation Safe Stay program. The mission is to work with multifamily housing to reduce calls for service. The program has made a big impact and also has reduced calls that include the fire and ambulance service.
Andy is trusted by his peers and can be counted on. Thank you for all that you do to keep our community safe!
