Our program was presented by Jaime Henning, CEO of the Greeley Chamber of Commerce. Jaime talked about the path to her current position and her involvement in national chamber organizations (she serves on the board for the US Chamber Board and the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives [ACCE]).

She then shared an update on the Greeley Chamber, saying that they have over 700 investors (members) and a strong board. One of their tasks is advocacy for local and state policy, especially for the 85% of investors that are small businesses. They bring both city and county officials to meetings to hear the voice of small business owners.

They also focus on leadership development, including Leadership Weld County, Leadership NoCo, and Young Professionals. As part of their strategic planning, they will work in economic development, specifically on retaining local businesses and helping them grow where they are.
